Getting Around
Metro
Busan Metro has elevators at most stations across its 6 lines. Designated wheelchair spaces in every train. Use a T-money or Cashbee card for all transit. Line 2 serves Haeundae Beach area.
KTX from Seoul
The high-speed KTX train from Seoul takes 2.5 hours and is wheelchair accessible with designated spaces. Book wheelchair seats in advance. Busan Station has elevator access.
Taxis
Cheap and abundant. Most can fit a folding wheelchair. The city also has accessible call taxis for wheelchair users.

🏖️ Haeundae Beach
Korea's most famous beach has accessible pathways, accessible restrooms, and beach wheelchair facilities in summer. The wide promenade behind the beach is flat and perfect for rolling. The area has excellent restaurants and nightlife.
🐟 Jagalchi Fish Market
Korea's largest seafood market. The main building is modern with elevators and flat floors. Pick your fish from the market stalls and have it prepared upstairs in the restaurants. An incredible seafood experience.
🎨 Gamcheon Culture Village
The colorful hillside village is Instagram-famous but involves steep stairs and narrow alleys. Viewable from accessible viewpoints at the top (arrive by taxi). Some upper pathways are navigable. The views down over the painted houses to the sea are stunning.
⛩️ Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
A spectacular cliffside temple overlooking the ocean. Involves many stairs. However, the upper entrance area and viewpoints offer some accessible ocean views. One of Korea's most beautiful temples.
